What this site collects

The site is a set of static pages. There are no accounts, no comment forms and no mailing list. The frost tool and the 'this month' box run in your browser. They are not sent to a server and they are not stored in a cookie.

Like most websites, the host that serves the pages may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and the page requested, for security and to keep the service running. Those logs are handled by the host, not by a form on this site.

Cookies

These pages do not set cookies. The site does not use an analytics cookie and it does not embed third-party advertising.

If adverts are added later, the advertising provider may set cookies or similar technologies to measure and personalise ads. That will not happen without this page being updated first, including the name of the provider and how to refuse those cookies.

Affiliate links

Crop pages include a 'What you'll need' list of seeds, compost and tools. Those items are not links to shops. No commission is earned from them.

If affiliate links are added later, they will be marked as such. Clicking one may allow the retailer to set a cookie so a purchase can be attributed. Advice on the page will not depend on which products can carry a link. The lists are edited in one data file so any future links can be reviewed in one place.
